1. Products and Retail Sales

Binny Cosmetics offers a curated selection of high-quality beauty products, including foundations, eyeshadows, lip stains, bronzers, lashes, natural soaps, skincare serums, and beauty tools.

  • Product Accuracy: We strive to display the colors and textures of our products as accurately as possible. However, due to variations in monitor displays, we cannot guarantee that the color you see will perfectly match the physical product.

  • Safety and Allergies: Our products are formulated with care. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists provided on packaging or our website to avoid personal allergens. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test before full application.

2. Professional Beauty Services

We provide expert makeup artistry and specialized beauty treatments in Edmonton, including soft glam, bridal, TV/film, runway, brow/lash treatments, teeth whitening/gems, and permanent ombre brows.

  • Appointments: All services are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to ensure your preferred time.

  • Consultations: For permanent makeup (ombre brows) and specialized treatments, a consultation may be required to ensure the service is safe and suitable for your skin type.

  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: We value our artists' time and our community’s needs. Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours in advance (as specified during booking). Deposits may be non-refundable for late cancellations or "no-shows."

3. Customer Care

We’re committed to delivering professional, respectful, and inclusive service in every interaction—online, in-studio, and on-location.

  • Professional Standards: Our artists and technicians aim to provide services consistent with industry best practices and your booked service description. Results can vary based on skin type, skin condition, aftercare, and product compatibility.

  • Sanitation & Hygiene: We follow strict sanitation protocols for all services, including (as applicable) disinfecting work areas, using clean tools, using single-use applicators where appropriate, and practicing proper hand hygiene.

  • Client Responsibilities: Clients agree to arrive with clean skin when requested (or as advised), disclose relevant allergies/sensitivities and health information, and follow aftercare instructions to help ensure safe healing and best results.

4. Makeup Service Terms

These terms apply to makeup artistry services (including soft glam, bridal, editorial, TV/film, runway, and group bookings), whether provided in-studio or on-location in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

  • Deposit Requirement: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

  • Travel Radius & Fees (Edmonton): Travel is included within a 20-minute travel radius of Edmonton (as determined by our standard mapping route). Travel beyond that radius is charged at $0.50 CAD per kilometre (km) and may be quoted and added to your remaining balance.

  • Liability / Health Disclosures: Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, skin concerns, and any recent treatments that may impact service safety or results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Binny Cosmetics is not responsible for adverse reactions where clients fail to disclose relevant information, fail to follow aftercare, or where reactions arise from unknown sensitivities.

  • Photography & Advertising Consent: Unless you notify us in writing before your appointment, you agree that Binny Cosmetics may photograph or record your service results and use such content (including your likeness) for marketing, advertising, portfolio, social media, and educational purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed/recorded or prefer limited use, you may opt out at any time by emailing hello@binnycosmetics.ca prior to your appointment.

5. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for products and services (subject to availability):

  • Credit/Debit

  • PayPal

  • Offline Payments (e.g., in-person arrangements as offered during booking)

6. Cancellation Policy (Services)

  • Deposit Forfeiture: If you cancel your appointment, your deposit is forfeited (non-refundable).

  • Post-Consultation Cancellations: If you cancel after a consultation has been completed, any remaining balance owed for the booked service (including applicable travel fees) is due and payable, unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by Binny Cosmetics in writing.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to bring our visionary beauty products to your doorstep efficiently.

  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all product orders over $100 CAD within Canada.

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. Delivery times vary based on location and carrier.

  • International Shipping: At this time, shipping is focused on Canada and the US. Any customs, duties, or import taxes incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the hygienic nature of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty tools, our policy is designed to protect all members of our community.

  • Cosmetic Products: For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used makeup, lashes, soaps, or serums.

  • Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at hello@binnycosmetics.ca within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will gladly arrange a replacement or credit.

  • Services: Fees for professional services rendered are non-refundable.

5. Inclusion and Community Conduct

Binny Cosmetics is a sanctuary for self-expression. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or hate speech toward our staff or fellow community members. We proudly represent and support Two-Spirit, Indigiqueer, and LGBTQ+ identities. 6. Health and Safety (Services)

For services such as teeth whitening, gems, and permanent makeup:

  • Clients must provide accurate health history information.

  • Binny Cosmetics adheres to strict sterilization and sanitation protocols to ensure the safety of our clients and artists.

  • Aftercare instructions provided by our technicians must be followed to ensure the best results and prevent infection.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on www.binnycosmetics.ca, including logos, images, product names, and visionary branding, is the property of Binny Cosmetics. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Shipping & Return Policy

2. Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the nature of our products—including makeup, skincare serums, and beauty tools—and for the health and safety of our community, Binny Cosmetics must adhere to strict hygiene protocols.

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

  2. Wait for Authorization: We may require confirmation that the item is unopened/unused. If approved, we will provide return instructions.

  3. Ship the Item Back: Package the item securely in its original packaging (with all seals intact). Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (damaged/defective/incorrect item).

  4. Inspection: Once received, we will inspect the item to confirm eligibility.

  5. Outcome: If approved, we will issue either (a) a refund to the original payment method, or (b) an exchange (subject to inventory availability). If an exchange item is unavailable, we will process a refund instead.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Opened or used makeup (foundations, lip stains, eyeshadows, etc.).

  • Skincare serums and natural soaps.

  • Individual or strip lashes (due to health regulations).

  • Services rendered (see Section 4).

  • Gift cards.

  • Sale items designated as "Final Sale."

3. Damages, Defective Items, and Errors

We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. If you receive an item that is damaged during transit, defective, or if you received the incorrect product:

  1. Please contact us immediately at legal@binnycosmetics.ca or through our website contact form.

  2. Provide your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damage or error.

  3. We will evaluate the issue and, if approved, provide a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.

4. Professional Beauty Services

Binny Cosmetics offers professional artistry, including bridal, TV/film, brow/lash treatments, and permanent ombre brows.

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all service bookings.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Service Satisfaction: While we strive for perfection in every makeover and treatment, professional services are non-refundable once the application or treatment is completed.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning items, unless the return is due to an error on our part (damaged/defective).
